A homework dated 09/11/2009 (English)

Based on one novel you have read, write about whether you would change the ending of the novel. Support your answer with evidence from the novel.

Based on the novel The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux, I think they should change the ending for this novel. This is because Erik died in a very sad way. He has never experienced love until Christine kissed him willingly. Not only that, he died a broken heart as Christine was no longer with him and there was no one to watch him die thus mourn for him. On the other hand, Raoul get to have a happy ending as Erik released Christine to go with Raoul. I think the author of this novel should let Christine go with Raoul and let Erik survive. Then the story should go on like Erik starting a new life which means he has turned over a new leaf. Therefore, people should not judge his appearance though he is retarded. This way, Erik's point of view about the society would change dramatically. He should also find another person that truly suits and loves him. The Persian would accompany Erik as some community would still reject him causing Erik to be the person he once used to be. With this as an ending, it would be much better. No one has to die and we can all have a happy ending like how it used to be in movies.

My Experience on Creating my First Blog (Sorry if there are any problems)

The Internet has many uses especially to us human beings .With the computer technology ,we are able to create blogs .With a blog ,we can let others see into our profile easily .Now ,I am writing this essay as my school English teacher gave this topic to us as an assignment .(I think)
I have never created a blog until today the third of September .The reason is I don't like to let others view my profile is because it's TOP SECRET but I still did one as I will be needing it . One of the teacher from my school ,En.Ghalib is using it and no matter what question we ask ,we'll surely get an answer .I was told by a fellow teacher so I took the initiative to create a blog.
It was quite frustating at first to be writing this but after a little while I think it can help us at times .We can read others' profile and who knows what you may learn about that person . Not only that ,we can insert our own features such as layouts ,profile image to make it look admirable .Furthermore ,we can comment on others if it's not good or posting our own quote about ourselves or others .
So I think this my experience of having a blog for myself .
